PAIS Departmental Scholarship, University of Warwick
PAIS is delighted to confirm that 15 awards of 50% of tuition fees each are available for students commencing MA/Diploma study in 2016-17. The award will automatically be deducted from the winners' tuition fees.
The awards will be allocated as follows:
- Seven full-time Home/EU scholarships. These will be awarded to candidates from the UK and European Union who will undertake a full-time PAIS MA or Diploma programme commencing in October 2016.
- Six full-time Overseas scholarships. These will be awarded to candidates from outside the EU who will undertake a full-time PAIS MA or Diploma programme commencing in October 2016.
- Two part-time scholarships. This will be awarded to a candidate who will undertake a part-time PAIS MA or Diploma programme commencing in October 2016 or to a current PAIS MA or Diploma student entering year 2 in 2016. This award is aimed in particular at mature British students; however, the competition is also open to EU students or Overseas students eligible for part-time study. Please note that pending satisfactory academic progress, the award will be renewed for the successful candidates' second year of study.
The primary factor determining an application's success is the strength of the case for support. This case for support should demonstrate why you fit the above criteria as well as reflect your motivations for choosing to do a postgraduate degree in your specialisation. Your case for support should be no more than 800 words in length and should differ from the statement of purpose submitted with your application to the university.
The application forms are now available for download here. They should be completed and submitted via email to Melissa Venables no later 30 April 2016.
We aim to make a decision on applications within six weeks of the closing date. If you have not received the results of your application within seven weeks of the closing date, you may assume your application was not successful.
