Nottingham Business School will be offering the following scholarships to students who have received an offer to study on the full-time MBA starting in January 2016:
- 11 half fee scholarships for UK, EU and international students
- Two full fee scholarships for unemployed executives from the United Kingdom who are unemployed due to redundancy.
Nature of the Scholarship
These competitive scholarships will be awarded to those candidates who most closely meet the criteria for the award, which are provided below.
The scholarship decision will be made by an awarding committee and all decisions of that awarding committee are final. The scholarship will be available in the form of a tuition fee reduction and if you are awarded a scholarship your fee will be adjusted before enrolment.
Sponsored students (full / part) are not eligible to apply for an MBA Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
Application Process
Applications must consist of a fully completed scholarship application form which includes a 1500 word competitive essay submission which addresses the question provided below.
The awarding committee reserve the right to exclude from consideration any applications that include written statements which exceed the stated word limit or are incomplete.

Scholarship applications received before 4 pm GMT on 30 June will be assessed and successful applicants will be notified of their scholarship award by 21 July 2015.
Scholarship applications received after 4 pm GMT on 30 June and before 4 pm GMT on 1 September will be assessed and successful applicants will be notified of their scholarship award by 22 September 2015.
Scholarship applications received after 4 pm GMT on 1 September and before 4 pm GMT on 29 September will be assessed and successful applicants will be notified of their scholarship award by 20 October 2015.
Scholarship applications received after 4 pm GMT on 29 September and before 4 pm GMT on 27 October will be assessed and successful applicants will be notified of their scholarship award by 17 November 2015.
Scholarship applications received after 4 pm GMT on 27 October and before 4 pm GMT on 1 December will be assessed and successful applicants will be notified of their scholarship award by 22 December 2015.
