Students enrolled in BA, MA and PhD programs at Armenian state and private universities, as well as young researchers and scholars, are invited to take part in this informative lecture. The speaker will explore the main stages of application to the Netherlands Universities and the Leiden University in particular, the requirements, the application documents, and the overall admission process. After a short introduction on the above mentioned matters, the lecture will take the form of an interactive discussion. During the discussions Mr. Karamyan will also share his experience at Leiden as a graduate student.


Bio: Vakhtang Karamyan was born in Moscow where he graduated from high school and then enrolled in Arabic Studies BA programme at Yerevan State University. After graduation, he was accepted to Leiden University, Leiden, the Netherlands, to pursue MA degree in the Middle Eastern Studies/Islamic Studies.
