Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled C/C++ Software Engineer to be part of the R&D department in Yerevan, Armenia. A successful candidate for this team will have the ability to be flexible and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Implementing new functionality
- Improving and extending existing functionality
- Reviewing code
- Researching, building and linking new libraries
- Investigating and troubleshooting performance issues
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
- 1 year of vocational experience in C/C++ development
- Knowledge of debugging/profiling of real-time applications using standard tools
- Ability to debug, test, benchmark and document implemented updates
- Ability to learn and research new concepts, ideas and technologies quickly
- Ability to work and communicate within a team
- Great attention to detail
- Fluent in business English
Preferred qualifications
- Graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field; a PhD is a plus
- 2+ years of vocational experience in C/C++ development
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CVS
- Familiarity with the Wolfram Language
- Experience with CMake and Ant
