Ginosi Apartels is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong knowledge of cloud based systems, Linux, call center technologies, networking and hardware.

Responsibilities
- Architect, maintain and develop mission-critical servers and systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform utilizing the best platform features and security practices
- Maintain, support and develop our Asterisk-based FreePBX call center and guarantee its 24/7 smooth operation
- Ensure the security of local office network and all devices connected to it including computers, routers, network-attached storages, etc.
- Architect and maintain an office network, internet, WiFi, routers, etc.
- Automate everyday workflows, adapting “infrastructure as a code” approach
- Provision, revoke and maintain user accounts in different systems
- Support the computer and network infrastructure in local and remote locations around the world
- Communicate and align key strategic decisions with CTO, IT manager, Development manager and other stakeholders
- Envision, plan and execute a strategy for pushing the network, systems and infrastructure to the next level in line with the needs of the 21st century
Requirements
- B.S.or M.S. in IT/Computer Science
- At least 5 years of work experience on Linux systems
- At least 3 years of scripting and automation
- Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, elastic load balancing, Cloudfront, Route53 etc) or other similar IaaS service
- Work experience with Asterisk-based call centers, ideally, FreePBX, with knowledge of SIP protocol, WebRTC
- Good knowledge of RouterOS, mikrotik routers, wifi roaming, traffic shaping, etc.
- Familiarity with Cloudflare, Twilio, Pingdom and other cloud based services
- Familiarity with virtual machines (VMware, KVM, etc.)
- Clear communication skills, ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and logical fashion
- Good knowledge of English, ability to read and understand technical articles, write support tickets and communicate with support teams from other companies
- General understanding of web development processes and procedures
- Experience/knowledge of php, Java or any other programming language is a big plus
- Structured and logical way of thinking, ability to plan long term development strategies
- Extremely high attention to details, zero tolerance towards errors in production environments, ability to execute with high precision
- Security mindset: ability to analyze systems from security perspective and give appropriate solutions to various problems
- Proactive personality with effective communication skills and "can-do" attitude
