Job Description
BetConstruct is looking for a QA Engineer, enthusiastic about finding some bugs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality issues by identifying the defects, documenting, tracking and resolving them.
Things you’ll do:
· Duplicate and troubleshoot complex issues found in the field
· Analyze new features and write functional test cases
· Document, design, execute and troubleshoot performance tests (product or component)
· Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities
· Ensure test plans are thoroughly covering all requirements and use cases
· Report bugs in a clear and concise manner and support the team in troubleshooting the root cause
· Work closely with software developers to perform early testing on components prior to integration builds
· Manage defect tracking; monitor and report results
· Report QA status in order to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- At least 1 year of Quality Assurance experience
- Experience in Web testing is required
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects
- Experience with Issue tracking system/ JIRA bug tracking
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to investigate and research multiple sources
- Solid knowledge of the QA techniques, testing concepts, methodologies
- Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle
- Experience in testing WPF applications, back-ends, SQL databases (execute queries) is a plus
- Working knowledge of Linux and Unix environments is a plus
- Broad experience in using Selenium WebDriver and Grid
- Ability to adapt with and quickly learn any other testing tool is a plus
- Good understanding of automation testing approaches
- Agile/SCRUM development/testing and software release experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and with team members
- Write and execute manual test scripts
