Job summary
Globbing LLC is looking for Logistics Manager willing to take full endresponsibility for creating and maintaining high-level company image and reputation amongst company partners including shipping companies, state authorities etc. Logistics specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring the supply chain as well as warehousing and customs clearance procedures.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most costeffective or efficient means of transporting products/supplies and give recommendations to the upper management
- Plan and create company logistics policies and procedures
- Monitor and implement amendments into company’s inbound logistics systems/ procedures
- Build up and develop business relations with the mediators, conduct negotiations to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability
- Monitor and direct inbound logistics operations assuring their safety performance
- Resolve problems involving all the possible aspects of logistics
- Ensure the most cost-effective logistics solutions
- Ensure compliance of procedures with state regulatory and legal requirements
Job requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience working in an international shipping company
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of warehousing and logistics procedures and standards
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs and tax requirements is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of any other European Language is a plus
- Strong communication and decision making skills
- Ability to act accordingly and proactively
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suit
