JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tumo Center for Creative Technologies is looking for an experienced and dynamic specialist of drawing who will be responsible for creating learning activities, project assignments and other learning assignments in the area of drawing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead drawing workshops which teach the principles of drawing, character performance as well as other drawing techniques
- Develop, test and fine-tune drawing activity content
- Brainstorm and mock up ideas for activities that would develop the students’ drawing skills, present them to the content development group and offer solutions for their integration into the existing curriculum
- Examine student activities and write meaningful detailed feedback
- Provide assistance during course sessions and workshops pertaining to drawing
- Assist in the process of testing and evaluating the educational content
QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher education degree in the sphere
- Background or experience in traditional drawing which demonstrates an understanding of physical motion, weight, form and balance
- Portfolio of works which will show detailed understanding and solid experience in Drawing (anatomy, perspective, color theory etc)
- Knowledge of human and animal anatomy is a plus
- Interest in Animation and Comics sphere, ability to create a characters and do storyboarding
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Software and ability to work with Wacom Graphic tablets
- Experience in the field of education or experience in working with kids is a plus
- Ability to work well both independently and as the team member of a large workforce
- Ability to regularly insure high work productivity
