JOB TITLE: Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION: Successfully supporting senior colleagues/team members in debt and/or equity raising projects from major international and regional financial institutions, investment funds and banks for AmeriaBank and/or its corporate clients;

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to Ameriabank’s partner international financial institutions, including but not limited, reporting on financial covenants, and financial statements, sub-project lending, and other performance related matters;
  • Cross selling AmeriaBank’s commercial and retail banking products and services to key IB clients of the AmeriaBank;
  • Training and coaching CF team analysts and junior staff;
  • Supporting the Head of Corporate Finance in strengthening the institutional capacity, business continuity and risk management in Corporate Finance unit.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

Education and certification requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in economics, finance, law, engineering or physics (Masters and MBA would be a plus),
  • Preference to obtaining such qualifications as ACCA and other finance related designations,
  • Willingness to obtain bank management series license from the Central Bank of Armenia (Bank CEO, Branch Manager) if required,
  • Advanced MS Office user.

Professional experience requirements

Minimum 2 years business, finance experience in banking, investment and management advisory sectors is required, preferably with regional exposure. Relevant experience should include capital and debt rising in any capacity, M&A advisory, reorganization/restructuring, financial planning, trading or asset management.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills Requirements

  • Good knowledge of banking business, balance sheet components, P&L structure, regulatory framework in which Armenian banks operate, ability to analyze bank balance sheets and P&Ls,
  • Good knowledge of capital and money markets, investment banking business,
  • Good corporate finance knowledge, project financing, financial modeling, analysis, valuation and other relevant skills,
  • Ability to negotiate Mandate Letters, LoIs, Term Sheets, Loan Agreements and Share Purchase Agreements pursuant to deal structure approved by the management and shareholders,
  • Good knowledge in accounting and financial reporting standards,
  • Ability to understand international and local capital and money market trends and developments for product development and client relationships,
  • Self-confidence, good judgment, and the ability to make informed decisions,
  • Ability to drive ideas from concept to completion, work both independently and in a team,
  • Ability to work in multifunctional environment under short deadline result oriented task line,
  • Strong knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages.

REMUNERATION: ranging from AMD 100,000 to 2,000,000, according to the S grade of the Bank remuneration scheme.
