International Business Management
Bachelor's Program: 6 semesters, full-time
International Business Management is a unique program of study that combines International Relationsand International Business with Humanistic Management.
In the light of globalization, management strategies should be adopted to certain needs resulting frommulticulturalism. This requires a great deal of emphasis put on soft skills that enable one to be successful in business, either as a manager or as a leader of international teams.
The International Business Management program of study is targeted at those who want to not only gain the knowledge and skills indispensable to understand the international business reality, but also develop their sensitivity and imagination that will enable them to perceive chances and risks in the fast-changing environment.
A Bachelor's program in International Business Management provides students with knowledge, skills and abilities indispensable for future managers and consultants working in all kinds of organizations both in Poland and abroad such as small and medium companies, corporations, public administration, NGOs.
Our graduates:
- possess general knowledge in the field of organizations that is necessary to understand and manage successfully various processes occurring in companies/ institutions in terms of strategies and operations from both poli- and multicultural perspective;
- are aware of cultural management conditions, which enables them to understand organization problems and obstacles one has to tackle when managing multicultural teams;
- have specialized knowledge indispensable to manage successfully human resources, they master teamwork, they can work with people from different cultural environments, they are open and innovative;
- have general knowledge in the field of economic and legal aspects of management, which leads to better communication with experts in that field;
- have general knowledge in the field of analytic aspects of management, which leads to better communication with experts in that field;
- can diagnose management difficulties and apply information technologies supporting company management;
- are fluent in English, which enables them to manage international companies;
- Are aware of their ethical, social and legal responsibility resulting from their profession.
