Institute of Petroleum Engineering 40th Anniversary MSc Scholarship
The Institute of Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University is offering a new scholarship worth up to £3,000 per student for International applicants to the MSc Petroleum Engineering programme who fully complete the application process prior to 1st May 2016.
This scholarship is designed to support International students from outwith the European Union and recognises the challenges currently faced by the international Oil and Gas Industry. It applies to applicants to the Edinburgh campus for entry in the academic year 2016/17 only and it cannot be deferred to another year.
The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this scholarship:
- You must be classified as an International (non-EU) fee payer from outside the UK or EU
- You must have accepted an Unconditional offer to study on the programme
- You must fully complete the application and acceptance process and pay the non-refundable deposit (£4,000) to Heriot-Watt University before 1st May 2016
- You must enrol on the MSc in Petroleum Engineering programme before 12th September 2016
The scholarship will only apply to applicants who do not have government or company sponsorship.
This offer is initially only available until Sunday 1 May 2016 and will be awarded at the sole discretion of the University.
Note: we recommend that you do not pay the advance instalment of tuition fee (i.e. non-refundable deposit), before you have met any other outstanding conditions on your offer.
