King’s College London is awarding masters bursaries for international students within the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine beginning in September 2015. Each Bursary has a value of £2,000. The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of the assessments of three criteria: 1. Previous academic performance; 2. relevant experience where appropriate; 3. personal statement indicating reasons for applying to a particular programme. The application deadline is 29 May 2015.
Study Subject(s): Bursaries are awarded for the following programmes: MSc Medicine, Science and Society, MA in Bioethics & Society, MSc in Global Health & Social Justice, MSc Gerontology, MA/MSc Ageing and Society and MA Public Policy and Ageing within the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine at the King’s College London.
Course Level: Bursaries are available for pursuing full-time taught masters degree at King’s College London.

Eligibility: All students applying for any of the full-time taught masters programmes within the Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine beginning in September 2015 are eligible for these bursaries, including UK, EU and Overseas/International students.
Scholarship Open for International Students: UK and Overseas/International students can apply for these masters bursaries.
Scholarship Description: The Department of Social Science, Health & Medicine is offering 5 bursary awards to new taught masters students. The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of the assessments of three criteria: 1. Previous academic performance; 2. relevant experience where appropriate; 3. personal statement indicating reasons for applying to a particular programme. When offered a bursary, you must also meet the following criteria for the bursary to be awarded: 1. Accept the University’s offer of a place as your firm (first) choice by 1 July 2015; 2. meet the conditions of your offer (if you firmly accept an unconditional offer you are automatically deemed to have met the conditions of your offer); 3. register for a postgraduate course at our Department.

What does it cover? Each Bursary has a value of £2,000.
Selection Criteria: The bursaries will be awarded on the basis of the assessments of three criteria: 1. Previous academic performance; 2. relevant experience where appropriate; 3. personal statement indicating reasons for applying to a particular programme. When offered a bursary, you must also meet the following criteria for the bursary to be awarded: 1. Accept the University’s offer of a place as your firm (first) choice by 1 July 2015; 2. meet the conditions of your offer (if you firmly accept an unconditional offer you are automatically deemed to have met the conditions of your offer); 3. register for a postgraduate course at our Department.
Notification: The successful candidate will be notified no later than 19 June 2015. Payments will be made in October 2015 and January 2016.
How to Apply: There is no separate application procedure for the bursaries. All individuals who have submitted a complete application by midnight on the 29th May will be considered for the bursaries automatically. A fully completed application includes a complete online application form, and also all supporting documents including personal statements, transcripts, references and IELTS certificates (where appropriate). All materials must have been submitted via the Postgraduate Admissions Portal by the due time and date.
