CALL FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW FOR A DST SPONSORED PROJECT

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by Department of Science & Technology (DST), under the supervision of Dr. Arshad Javed, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITSPilani, Hyderabad campus.

Title of the project: Application of topology optimization to enhance energy efficiency and performance of industrial manipulator

Duration of the project: 3 years

Project position: Junior Research Fellow

Fellowship amount: Rs 25,000 per month for first two years and Rs 28,000 for the next year

Eligibility requirements: M.Tech /ME in Mechanical Engineering (Preferably – Robotics/Machine Design/ Engineering Design)

Please note that only qualified and suitable candidates will be called for interview to be held at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus in July 2017 and no TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Selected candidate may be permitted to register for Ph.D programme of BITS, Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements.
