University of Leicester is inviting applications for four funded graduate teaching assistantships for October 2015 entry in the Department of Economics. Assistantships are available to undertake teaching and teaching-related duties within the Department while undertaking research leading to a PhD. Approximately 80% of their time will be spent on their doctoral research and 20% on their GTA responsibilities.
Assistantships are awarded in areas compatible with the research interests of our staff which cover economic theory broadly interpreted from applied theory: Public Economics, Labour Economics, Industrial Organisation, Behavioural Economics, Growth Theory and Macroeconomics to more pure theory areas: Game Theory, Contract Theory and Mechanism Design within the Department of Economics.

These posts will pay full-time University UK/EU tuition fees for four years and include an annual maintenance grant.
