Summing up the inclusion of Spanish universities in the global university rankings in recent years, around 27 of them are among the best ones in the world. Particularly, the below list includes some of the Spanish ranked universities according to QS World University Rankings:

Application procedures vary based on the degree level and the student's citizenship. Bachelor’s degree requires to apply via the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). Non-EU students without a previous Bachelor's degree should register in UNED to pass the entrance exams.

The application of graduate studies is usually preceded by directly contacting a chosen university. Search for the application sections of the hosting university's website for further details.

EU and Swiss students do not need a study visa for Spain. Upon arrival, they should acquire a residence certificate by applying to the local Spanish authorities.

Non-EU students who plan to stay in the country longer than three months should apply for the visa in advance at the Spanish consulates in their resident countries.

The tuition fees in Spanish universities vary depending on many factors such as the type of the university (public or private), the degree, the location, and the applicant's nationality. Therefore, you can check your individual tuition fee with the accepted university dedicated department.

In general, the fees for public and private universities significantly vary. If you choose to study at a Spanish public university, there is one of the most affordable options in Europe.
