2016 International House Award ($600)
Who can apply: Undergraduate international students completing their degrees at Carleton who are in their graduating year of study.
The International House Award is awarded to an undergraduate student in his or her graduating year who is attending Carleton University on a student visa (study permit). In addition to maintaining good academic standing in their degree program, the student has been an active participant in extracurricular activities in the University. Donor: International House. Endowed 1972.
2016 Marie Odette Gabrielle Clay Memorial Award ($1100)
Who can apply: Undergraduate international students completing their degrees at Carleton who are continuing their studies (*who are not in their graduating year).
The Marie Odette Gabrielle Clay Memorial Award is awarded annually to an undergraduate international student who is proceeding from one year of study to another, is in good academic standing, and who has been involved in student life. Donor: Friends and family of Marie Odette Gabrielle Glay (BA ’88). Endowed 2000.
Application Instructions
Submit your resume and a one-page, single spaced (approximately 500 words) cover letter to the ISSO outlining your extracurricular involvement, contributions to student life, academic achievement, etc. at Carleton. Please review the award descriptions above and include any details that you believe demonstrate your suitability for the award in question. Your resume and cover letter should include your full name, student ID #, contact information, and program of study. The ISSO is not responsible for incomplete application packages. Applications must be submitted in hard copy to the ISSO (128 UC) by Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 4:00 pm.
