CFP: Medievalists! Rebellion in Medieval Europe!

We are pleased to invite abstracts for a two-day conference on the theme of Rebellion in Medieval Europe taking place at Canterbury Christ Church University on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd June 2019. We are delighted to welcome Prof. Björn Weiler (Aberystwyth University) and Dr. David Grummitt (Canterbury Christ Church University) who will be delivering our keynote lectures. We welcome proposals for papers on a wide variety of topics (some suggestions below) connected to the theme on any aspect of medieval Europe (c.1100–c. 1500) and all levels of society.
We are hoping to secure funding in order to be able to provide a number of travel bursaries for postgraduate students and ECRs presenting at the conference.

Abstract: We invite proposals between 250–300 words for individual 20 minute papers relating to the conference theme. We also ask you to submit a short biography for inclusion in the programme. Please send abstracts to: rebellionmedievaleurope2019@gmail.com
Deadline: Please send abstracts by Friday 1st FEBRUARY 2019. Applicants will be notified regarding the acceptance of their paper by early March 2019.
