This program is based at Harlaxton College, a study abroad center in a Victorian manor house owned by the University of Evansville. Harlaxton is located in the English county of Lincolnshire, in the countryside about an hour by train north of London.
Add an Internship to your 5-week summer program!
Students participating in the summer 2022 5-week program have an exciting option to add an internship! For an additional $3000, students can complete a three-hour internship while living at the Manor. We will offer the students personalized attention in creating their placement and helping with questions throughout the process.
1. Additional expenses for students are the Student Visa costs and any transportation costs associated with the internship.
2. The dates for the internship are during the second summer session.
3. During this time, room and a 12 meal a week meal plan at the Manor are included in the fee as well as the three-credit hour course.
Students wishing to complete this internship in the summer will need to complete the summer internship application in addition to the 5-week application. Once completed, our internship team in the UK will reach out to help with your placement.
In order to be eligible for the summer internship program at Harlaxton, you must apply for the 5-week course session as well. Once you have created your Harlaxton Summer application, you will follow the steps below to apply for an internship placement to extend your Harlaxton experience!

2. You will be prompted to log in to myHarlaxton if you have not yet done so:
If you are a University of Evansville student, you can log in to the myHarlaxton/myUEabroad system with your UE credentials just as you would for Acelink or Blackboard. Your username is the first part of your Evansville email and your password will be the same as on other UE systems.
If you are not a University of Evansville student, you will log in with the same email and password you used to create your myHarlaxton account for your Harlaxton Summer application.
3. Complete the application materials. There will be a few questions to answer about your interest in an internship placement.
4. Watch your email for an initial status update! We usually get in touch within 2 working days to let you know your application has been received, then you will hear from the UK-based team about an interview and next steps.
5. Prepare for an interview with the internship team at Harlaxton to determine if we are the right fit for you!
