This course offers an introduction to goldsmithing. Students will make three jewels using various metal working techniques. Drawing, casting, design, construction, engraving, fretwork and wax processing are the basis of every project.
The course will be held in Italian and English
Introduction to goldsmithing
- Casting, malleability and ductility of the metal, ring construction
- Fretwork, fundamentals of engraving, cabochon setting
- Creation of a jewel designed by the student
