Women scientists at doctoral and/or post-doctoral level around the world are invited to submit their application for one of the national and regional L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Young Talents Programmes. These National and Regional Programmes aim to promote and encourage young women researchers who represent the future of science, helping them to pursue their research in institutions at home or abroad.

- The scientific quality of the research project
- The innovative approach (rationale, relevance, originality, outputs, applications, etc.) and the expected outcomes of the research
