Scholarships
If you are thinking about applying to Selkirk College, we offer some entrance scholarships for new students. If your GPA or percentage is above 80% in your final year of secondary school or your undergraduate degree, you may qualify for a $1000 entrance scholarship.
If you are a current student, you do not need to apply for the international student scholarship. Your GPA will be calculated after the Winter semester (January to April), and if you are eligible for a scholarship, you will be contacted by someone at Selkirk College. You must return to Selkirk College the following September to be eligible for this scholarship, as it will be issued as a tuition credit. Approximately 12 students will be awarded a scholarship of between $250 and $500.
Bursaries
International students who can demonstrate financial need can apply for Selkirk College bursaries through the normal bursary application process. Bursaries are not dependent on a student's GPA, but financial need. You must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and must be enrolled as a full time student (minimum 60% course load) to be eligible for a bursary.
Bursary application opens in the middle of September and close the end of October. Late applications will not be accepted. Approximately 12 students will be awarded a bursary of $250-$500
