St. John’s University will offer merit-based scholarships to first-year graduate students who enroll in specified St. John’s graduate level master's degree programs starting with the Fall 2020 term.

Merit scholarship consideration will be given for applicants to the following graduate programs:

The admission application is used to automatically determine merit scholarship eligibility; no additional application is required. Applicants are notified of their award in their acceptance letter. Scholarships are awarded based on the student’s academic ability, college, and program of study. Changes in college, program, and/or term may impact scholarship eligibility.
Full-time students who are awarded the scholarship must take a minimum of nine credits per fall and spring semesters. Part-time students must take a minimum of six credits per fall and spring semester to be considered eligible. International students must take a minimum of nine credits per fall and spring semester for eligibility.
Funding is limited; therefore, timing of application submission will be considered. Students are encouraged to apply early.
