Academy of Art University is pleased to announce the 2020 International Distance Learning Scholarship, which offers a limited number of awards to financially assist prospective online international students that are seeking either an Undergraduate or Graduate degree. Award Information

  • The International Distance Learning Scholarship will be open from May 16, 2020 to September 15, 2020
    • June 15th, 2020 (cut-off for summer term)
  • A limited number of scholarship awards are available. This can only apply towards the recipient’s online course tuition for the current semester.
  • Scholarship recipients in Summer will have the option to renew the Distance Learn Scholarship if online and virtual course options remain the only learning options for International in Fall semester.
  • Undergraduate Students:
    • 6 Units Online – Up to $2000
    • 9 Units- Online – Up to $3000
    • 12 Units Online (Full-Time) – Up to $4000
  • Graduate Students:
    • 6 Units Online – Up to $2000
    • 9 Units Online (Full-Time) – Up to $3000
    • 12 Units Online (More Than Full-Time) – Up to $4000
  • A selection committee will determine the amount of each scholarship awarded based on artwork submission.
  • Recipients are responsible for the application and registration fees. Any additional costs and fees are the recipient’s responsibility.
  • Scholarships are for the recipient only, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferrable to any other person or semester.
