ESRF/ILL International Student Summer Programme on X-Ray and Neutron Science
Scope:
The ESRF/ILL International Student Summer Programme on X-Ray and Neutron Science is aimed at undergraduate students. It will consist in a 4-week experimental project embedded in a research group of ESRF or ILL, together with a series of introductory lectures on the principles and applications of X-ray and neutron science (magnetism, materials science, soft matter, structural biology, imaging, etc.).

30 August -26 September 2020
Eligibility:
Undergraduate students from a University of a Member Country (or Scientific Associate Country) of ESRF or ILL are eligible to the Summer Programme. The Summer Programme will be held in English; participants are expected to be fluent in written and spoken English. The number of participants is limited to approximately 20.
Financial support:
All selected participants will receive financial support and free accommodation in Grenoble.
Application:
Candidates to the Summer Programme should fill-in the online application form, and provide (ONE SINGLE PDF file to be uploaded via the application form) with the following items in this order:
- motivation letter
- complete CV including the records of all university marks and exams
- certificate of English language fluency (this may be a TOEFL or an attestation signed by a university lecturer of English language); students who are English native speakers or enrolled in an English language university are exempt of this certificate.
The pdf file should not exceed 10MB.
