Mabel Churn Scholarship in Ophthalmology

St Cross College invites applications for the Mabel Churn Scholarship from successful applicants normally resident in the UK or the European Union, who will begin studying at the University of Oxford in the academic year 2019-2020 for a DPhil research degree in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences (NDCN) in any area of retinal research. Applicants must list St Cross College as their first choice college on their Graduate Admissions application form in order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship and are advised that they must apply for a DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences (course code RD_CU1) in order to be considered for this scholarship.

The Scholarship will cover the annual Home/EU course fee plus an annual maintenance stipend at the RCUK rate (£14,999 for 2019-20) together with a grant of up to £500 per annum for travel and research expenses, and is tenable for three years coterminous with full fee liability. Applications should be received by the application deadline of midday on Monday 3rd June 2019.

The Scholarship is tenable at St Cross College only.
