Award for Scholarly Achievement in the Area of Gender-Based Violence

Eligibility (Basic Eligibility): 

Domestic or international students. At the time of application, must be registered in a graduate/undergraduate program at the University of Toronto; full-time, part-time and/or flex-time registered students are eligible. Description of Award: 

Each December 6th, the University of Toronto community marks the National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women with events across the institution. In 2016, the University established the Graduate and Undergraduate Award for Scholarly Achievement to recognize students who have made distinctive contributions in the area of gender-based violence research and prevention.

Academic Year: 2019-2020

Value/Amount:

Two awards at $1,500 each are available annually - one for a graduate student and one for an undergraduate student. The Award is funded jointly by the Office of the Vice-President and Provost and the Office of the Vice-President, Human Resources & Equity.
