Nanyang Technological University Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 2019, Singapore

The College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University invites applications from eligible candidates to join us as Postdoctoral Fellows for the Academic Year 2019.

Applicants are required to propose a reseach project, to be carried out during their term as Postdoctoral Fellows. The research project should be in a topic that is of interest to one or more of the Schools within the College. • School of Art, Design, and Media (ADM),
• School of Humanities (SoH),
• School of Social Sciences (SSS) , and
• Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI).

Eligibility

Applicants must possess a doctoral degree issued no more than 3 years prior to the time of application (i.e. the degree must have been obtained after Jan 1, 2016). Candidates who are finishing up their degrees must have their doctoral degrees conferred by July 2019.

Application process

Applications must include:

the Official Application Form submitted as one single document (in Microsoft Word format); 

Applicants are advised to explore the research interests of the College’s faculty members to identify potential faculty Mentors. They must state the Research Theme for which they are applying for on the Application Form and demonstrate in their research plan how their expertise crosses different disciplines and relates to the Theme they are applying for.

Reference Letters: Reference Letters from at least two (2) referees, are to be sent by the referees to the address indicated below. Reference Letters must be on an official letterhead, and must be signed by the referee.
