Ph.D./Doctoral Positions in Chemistry 2018, Germany
The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) on Reactive Structure Analysis for Chemical Reactions is jointly organized by two Max Planck Institutes in Mülheim/Ruhr as well as the Universities of Bochum, Bonn and Duisburg-Essen, all located in Germany. Program invites applications for several PhD / Doctoral Positions in Chemistry to pursue projects in chemistry and physics with an emphasis on one of the following areas:
- Theoretical Chemistry
- Inorganic Chemistry
- Heterogeneous Catalysis
- Molecular Catalysis
Highly motivated early career researchers of any nationality are invited to apply. Applicants should have an excellent scientific background, a strong interest in performing interdisciplinary projects and a deep commitment to fundamental research. Applicants should hold an MSc or equivalent degree in chemistry, physics or a related area at the point of enrolment. All students accepted to this 3-year-PhD/doctoral-program will receive a salary and will join one of research groups. Each student receives supervision and mentoring and is guided in her/his research work by an advisory committee. The student’s laboratory work is supplemented by high-grade scientific courses. The working language is English.
