ESADE Business School offers and awards a considerable number of scholarships to outstanding Full-Time MBA candidates during their admissions process.
Most of these Scholarships are possible by the allocation of the Business School funds, as well as the generosity of our donors and alumni contribution. The aim is to recognize and encourage talented candidates applying to ESADE Business School.
There are two criteria in which the scholarship can be evaluated. The Talent criteria evaluates the academic excellence, personal achievements, proven professional acumen and a determination to influence the future of business.
The Need based criteria, not only evaluates the merit profile, but also the financial need of the candidate.
Please note that each scholarship includes a description that indicates the criteria in which the scholarship can be evaluated. In the event that the Scholarship can be evaluated in both criteria, you may choose one.
All ESADE Full Time MBA candidates are welcome to apply for financial aid to assist with their educational expenses. In order to ensure that financial aid from ESADE is available as soon as they are admitted, we encourage our candidates to begin their Scholarship Applications submission when they apply for Admission.
Candidates will be evaluated on the entire admissions process, also taking into account their admissions documents (scholarship essays, university transcripts, GMAT/GRE scores, recommendation letters and interview reports).
Candidates will be personally notified of the Scholarship Committee's decision.
Please note that this form is unique to apply to a Scholarship either in a Talent or Need Based criteria. If would like to apply to a scholarship evaluated in a Talent criteria, please fill in the Essay 1 and/or Essay 2 (if additional essay is necessary as per the description of the scholarship from our website). If you prefer to apply to a scholarship in a Need Based criteria, please fill in Essay 1, Essay 2 (if applicable) and Essay 3. Each candidate may only apply to one scholarship and will be notified of an award after their communication of admittance to the programme.
CANDIDATE’S GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Having started the Admissions On-line Application process is mandatory.
- To be evaluated by the Scholarship Committee, candidates must have submitted all supporting documents required by the Admissions Committee (GMAT, TOEFL, Transcripts, Admissions Essays, Interview, etc.) on the application portal.
- Select the Scholarship you are eligible to.
- Send the ESADE Scholarship Application Form and all required documents in PDF format to the ESADE Financial Aid Office at financialaid@esade.edu.
- OPTIONAL: Add a maximum of two supporting documents you want the ESADE Scholarship Committee to review (Academic or Professional recognitions, recommendations, prizes…).
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Documents in either English or Spanish languages will be accepted by the Scholarship Committee. Sworn translation is not mandatory.
SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION CRITERIA AND AWARDS
- Evaluation of candidates’ Scholarship Essays.
- . Candidates’ academic records is a very important factor on the Scholarship decision making process (GPA, GMAT/GRE, academic recognitions or prizes, etc.).
- Results of the Admissions official interview conducted by the corresponding ESADE Associate Director.
- Diversity of the candidate profile (career, nationality, field of study, international exposure, etc.).
- Previous professional experience and career potential.
- Analysis of economic documents for financial need (average family incomes vs. country average incomes vs. programme tuition fees). Only applicable to need-based Scholarships.
- Award of ESADE Scholarships range between 15% and 50% of Programme tuition fees (different amounts may be awarded at the discretion of the Committee).
- The ESADE MBA Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
- Due to confidentiality and integrity standards, we regret to inform you that no feedback may be given on any Scholarship Application.
