Summer Course “Revolutionary Movements in the Islamic Middle East
 
In the summer of 2013, a summer course on the topic of “Islam and Revolution” will take place at the Department of Arabic Studies of Yerevan State University, taught by Dr. Matthew Melvin-Koushki from Oxford University, Dr. Mushegh Asatryan from The Institute of Ismaili Studies (UK), and Dr. Arayik Harutyunyan from the Yerevan State University. The course will last four days and will consist of lectures followed by discussions.
The classes will be taught in Armenian and English, therefore knowledge of English sufficient for understanding the lectures is required. (To facilitate discussions interpreters will be provided.)
 
The reading materials will be distributed approximately one month before the course.
