  Dr. Douryan received his PhD degree in Aerospace Sciences from Princeton University, USA. He is an Applied Physicist and Research Engineer. He worked at the US Atomic Energy Commission, Solar Energy Research Institute of the US Department of Energy and retired in 2007 from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO. He acted as Vice President of R&D and Director of the Engineering Research Center, at the American University of Armenia (AUA). At present he is a visiting professor at the College of Engineering of AUA. He has published over 80 articles in refereed journals. He has extensive experience in teaching seminars on issues of science and the Christian faith.
