Why choose Denmark?

Denmark offers a welfare society characterized by a high rate of economic growth  and a high standard of living. In Denmark citizens are financially insured, e.g. in case of illness and old age. It is possible to get by easily in Denmark without speaking Danish from the start. Danish work culture is characterized by a horizontal structure and open dialogue between management and employees, and much is done to ensure a good working environment.

Studies have shown that a majority of foreign national workers in Denmark felt that their quality of life increased while living in Denmark. This is the result of many factors, but many highlight the positive balance between family and career in Denmark. Foreign nationals who come to Denmark often cite safety and security as the country's most important characteristics.

Why choose Odense?

Odense is the third-largest city in Denmark with 190,000 inhabitants and is centrally located with only 1½ hour's transport to Copenhagen, Sweden, Aarhus, or Germany. The Odense Campus has 16,000 students and is located in a large park approx. 20 minutes (by bicycle) from the city centre. Conveniently located housing is available at a reasonable price. Public transport is well-developed, but Odense is the cycling city par excellence. The bicycle lane network is extensive and makes it easy to get around the city and environs.
