The International Foundation Year is a supportive, one-year course that aims to prepare you for joining the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln.

This course aims to teach you the English language, study and research skills you need to succeed in your undergraduate degree, as well as your career once you graduate.

Choose from two subject routes:

• Business and Media
• Engineering and Computing

Structure

The routes are modular in structure. You will study a combination of core and subject-specific modules designed to focus on the academic area most relevant to your chosen degree.

Assessment

You will be assessed regularly throughout the course, through coursework assignments, exams, presentations, essays and case studies.

Progression to your degree

Once you complete the course and achieve the required grades, you can enter the first year of your chosen undergraduate degree at the University.
