LLB (Hons) Law – Accelerated (2 years)

LLB (Hons) Law – Accelerated is a two-year degree designed to get you to the next stage of your professional training as a lawyer or start your career as quickly as possible.

Provided that during your year at the International Study Centre your English improves and you meet the entry requirements, you can enter the two-year law degree.

The two-year LLB is the most focused professional law degree available. It has the same content and tutors as the three-year LLB, but it is more intensive with more contact hours per week (14h instead of nine).

The accelerated structure is a cost effective way to springboard to your career and help you save on living costs.

English Skills for University Study

This key module will help you achieve the high level of English language proficiency and study skills that the University expects from its undergraduates. You will develop your English communication confidence and learn a range of academic study skills. These include writing and reading strategies, presentation and seminar participation, organisation of time and materials, meeting deadlines and responding to feedback.

Subject-Specific Modules

These units provide you with knowledge and understanding of the degree subject(s) you will be progressing to. You will study a broad range of Business, Law and Finance topics that will be central to your undergraduate degree. These include areas such as contract law, trading structures, EU law, financial accounting, organisational behaviour and business management.
