OVERVIEW

The School of Computing Science is consistently highly ranked, achieving 2nd in Scotland and 10th in the UK (Complete University Guide 2017).

With about 30 academic staff, 70 research students and 36 research assistants and fellows, we host 24 EPSRC-funded research projects, six EC-funded projects, seven industrially-funded projects, and several research fellowships. Grants and fellowships currently total more than £6M.

We are a member of the Scottish Informatics and Computing Science Alliance (SICSA), a collaboration of Scottish Universities whose goal is to develop and extend Scotland's position as a world leader in Informatics and Computer Science research and education.
