Ph.D. fellow in Theoretical Astroparticle Physics

The Niels Bohr International Academy (NBIA) invites applications for one Ph.D. position in theoretical astroparticle physics commencing in fall 2019.

Job description:
The NBIA is an independent centre of excellence hosted by the Niels Bohr Institute (NBI) and functions as the primary centre of fundamental research in the physical sciences and mathematics. We are looking for exceptional candidates with good theoretical foundation who will conduct research in multi-messenger astrophysics with a focus on high-energy neutrino emission and its observation in present and future neutrino telescopes. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong analytical skills, who have previous experience in the modelling of high-energy neutrino sources and/or the statistical analysis of multi-messenger data. A close collaboration with the NBI IceCube group is also expected.
