The Co-op Scholarship

The Co-op Shop based on ECU campuses offer a wide range of educational and learning resources as well as software, technology, games, stationery, clothing, lifestyle products, travel accessories and much more.

Applications are invited from eligible ECU students to apply for The Co-op Scholarships. These scholarships were established in 2013 to reward outstanding second year undergraduate students who are experiencing financial hardship.

Eligibility requirements

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants must:

  • be enrolled in ECU undergraduate Bachelor degree course
  • be enrolled in a full time load (60 credit points)
  • have completed the first year (120 credit points of current course) at ECU
  • be continuing in the 2nd year of course
  • have an Average Weighted Mark (WAM) of greater than 75%
  • be able to provide evidence of financial hardship (usually demonstrated by being in receipt of a means-tested Centrelink allowance)
  • Not be in receipt of any other scholarships (except Commonwealth Scholarships or Student Start Up or Relocation Scholarship payments via Centrelink)
  • Current students are expected to have maintained an academic status of good standing at the end of each semester (as defined in the ECU handbook)

  • Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • Australian permanent resident visa holder
  • New Zealand citizen

  • UG - Undergraduate bachelor courses
