Job Offer from September 29, 2015

The Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy  is a research facility established by the Max Planck Society. The department of social law is devoted to basic research in the field of foreign and international social law. We are currently searching for a Research Fellow (Postdoc) (f/m) to join our team. The position is offered for an initial period of three years.

Your tasks

As a Research Fellow you will contribute to the research of the Institute by participating in various projects. These research projects focus on the welfare state through comparative analysis. European, international and constitutional laws, as well as interdisciplinary perspectives, are all taken into account.

Your profile

For this position, we expect candidates to possess excellent legal expertise and prefer those with experience conducting scientific research. Candidates should be committed and dedicated to their work. All candidates must have very good command of the English language. Sound skills in other languages are favourable.

Our offer

We offer a modern, well-equipped workplace that is centrally located and easily reached by public transport. Social benefits and services are subject to the arrangements of the Public Service.

The Max Planck Society would like to increase the percentage of women in areas where they are underrepresented and explicitly invites women to apply for this position. The Max Planck Society also strives to increase the employment of persons with severe disabilities. Severely disabled candidates are thus explicitly encouraged to apply.
