PhD Opportunity in Architecture: PhD by Creative Practice

The School is pleased to offer a funded studentship for October 2015 to conduct practice-based research in architecture. It is an opportunity to work on a PhD by Creative Practice with the school’s Design Office research consultancy; with the potential to collaborate on – and construct a thesis around – a series of live and theoretical architectural projects in the Office.

This studentship is School-funded and is offered for a three year period. The studentship attracts a bursary of £15,000 p.a. to cover fees and living costs for three years, and some research expenses.  International students are welcome to apply for this award, however, a successful non-EU applicant will therefore have a lower stipend for living costs because of their substantially higher fees.

Please see the job specification for full details and how to apply.
