The Università Politecnica delle Marche offers 10 (ten) scholarships to foreign citizens who have applied for admission to the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering for academic year 2017/2018 and have been admitted by the Selection Committee.
3 (three) of the 10 scholarships are reserved for citizens of a Developing Country classified as a low-income economy or as a lower-middle-income economy by the World Bank.
Each scholarship lasts one year and can be renewed for the second year.
The total amount of the scholarship is € 7.200,00 (seven thousand two hundred) gross, to be paid in three installments upon achievement of specific academic requirements.
The scholarship holders can be accommodated in one of the Students’ Houses for free (limited places available).
The scholarship holders will also benefit from a fee waiver, with the only exception of a regional tax, whose amount is about € 360,00 (three hundred sixty) per year.
The application form must be sent by:
- 21 July 2017, for the students who have applied for admission to the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering within 21 July 2017
- 6 November 2017, for the students who have applied for admission to the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering within 6 November 2017
The application must be sent by email as one pdf file only, with maximum dimension 5 MB; the name of the file must be as follows: surname, dot, name (for example surname.name.pdf). The application must be sent to international@univpm.it and in copy to s.fioretti@univpm.it
The ranking list of the scholarship winners will be published on the university website (International – Opportunities for International Students). The first ranking list will be published starting from 25 July 2017, the second ranking list will be published starting from 10 November 2017.
Within 5 (five) days from the publication of the ranking list the scholarship winners must send the acceptance form (available on the University website) by email to international@univpm.it and in copy to s.fioretti@univpm.it
The students must respect the rules and deadlines for registration set by the University as well as the rules set by the Italian Ministry of Education.
