This lecture aims to equip participants with a broad understanding of the fundamental principles of international law regulating the settlement of international disputes, the range of procedures available, and the institutions that comprise the international dispute settlement system.
In order for participants to gain an understanding of how these processes work in practice, this lecture will also address aspects of strategy in the litigation of international disputes, and provide practical insight on how to handle an international dispute as a lawyer.
