Senior Frontend Developer

We welcome talented Senior Frontend Developer to define how the website looks and functions.

Job responsibilities:

  • Design and build the core Joomag web components
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Collaborate with Product team to ship new features
  • Be a team member, contribute and motivate teamwork according to Scrum methodology
  • Be responsible for team’s results
  • Enhance working skills, grow and constantly share knowledge while day-to-day operations
  • Attend coordination meetings in person or through other means if not collocated

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in web application development
  • Strong knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of local storages
  • Strong knowledge of jQuery
  • Strong understanding of AJAX
  • Strong knowledge of Bootstrap 3
  • Good knowledge of SEO
  • Experience with Sass or LESS CSS transpilers
  • Good knowledge of JSDoc
  • Experience with PhpStorm or WebStorm
  • Good sense of what is required of a great user interface
  • Experience with JIRA or other issue/task tracking systems
  • Experience with GIT
  • Experience with Stash, Github or BitBucket
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban or other similar project management methodologies
  • Fluency in technical written English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Node.js, Grunt, React and AngularJS is a plus
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
