The 35th Jerusalem Winter School in Theoretical Physics. The Physics of Astronomical Transients

Recent years have been blessed by a variety of wide field surveys,
and opened up the field of time domain astronomy.
This was soon followed by the discoveries of a variety of transient phenomena
in the sky. The school will explore the physics relevant to understanding these objects, from Gamma Ray Bursts, through supernovae, and tidal disruption events to a variety of binary mergers.
