To be eligible for this award, students must:
- Be an international applicant from any country (except New Zealand)
- Hold a Bachelor Honours 1 (or equivalent) qualification
SELECTION CRITERIA
Scholarships are awarded on a Merit basis and alignment with CQUniversity research strength areas.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This scholarship provides the following benefits:
- tuition fees (up to two years for Masters by Research; up to three years for Doctoral study)
- Overseas Student Health Cover
- Scholarships recipients will also be awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) Scholarship. The APA Scholarship
- provides a living allowance scholarship ($26,288 in 2016).
About the university
Central Queensland University (alternatively known as CQUniversity) is an Australian dual sector university based in Queensland. Its main campus is in North Rockhampton, Queensland. However, it also has campuses in Rockhampton City, Bundaberg, Emerald, Gladstone City, Gladstone Marina, Mackay Ooralea, Mackay City and Noosa, as well as delivery sites in Cairns, Cannonvale, Townsville, Charters Towers, Yeppoon, Biloela, Geraldton, Karratha and Perth. On 31 October 2014, CQUniversity announced that it would open a full campus in the Townsville CBD in 2015.[4] It has metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane. As of 2012 the metropolitan campuses hosted both international and domestic students.[5]
