State and Society in Europe
ABOUT CONFERENCE
The “Alexandru and Aristia Aman” Foundation alongside the“Alexandru and Aristia Aman” County Library invites you to take part at the 8th edition of the International Conference “State and Society in Europe”, event to be held from 25 October to 5 November 2015 in Craiova – Romania.
The main objective of the conference is to promote the results of academic research on various fields, like : archeology, history (ancient, middle, modern and contemporary ), theology, diplomacy, cultural studies, international relations and European studies. Its purpose is also to establish a dialogue between different ways of approaching, by reuniting not only theoreticians, researchers and analysts, but also some personalities actively involved in the transformations on the international scene. The Conference is addressed to academicians, professors, researchers, PhD students, MA students, students and all those concerned with the areas mentioned above.
During out conference, the organizers will pay homeage to the academic researching activity held at the Institute of Social and Humanistic Sciences “C.S. Nicolăescu-Plopșor” of the Romanian Academy , in the context of its 50 years of functioning anniversary.
Conference will be held in English, Italian and Romanian. Simultaneous translation is provided! Communications will be published in Journal of Humanities, Culture and Social Sciences or in“Românii în Istoria Europei” (Romanians in Europe’s History), vol. IV.
The event is run in partnership with the Romanian Academy –C.S. Nicolaescu-Plopșor Institute of Social Sciences, Academy of Romanian Scientists – The Historical and Archaeological Science Section, University of Craiova – Department of Social Sciences within the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences.
Deadline for submission of registration form is October 10th, 2015(for editing and publishing the BOOK of ABSTRACTS).
