Program
- Introductions & orientation: This module serves as a friendly introduction to the program. Since it will be extremely intense, it is important that you form deep relationships, which will help you accomplish goals of the summer school.
- PART 1: The entrepreneurial mindset: The module will start with a boot camp. You will be transported to an undisclosed location without technology, where you will have to survive 2 days. You will be challenged with tasks forcing you to rethink your views on you careers and lives. Afterwards, you will learn how to embrace failure.
- You will also sleep outside, because you always sleep inside and all the comfort is always at your disposal without any struggle.
- You will be without your phone because we need your full attention and we want you to be distraction free – NO PHONE, NO INTERNET. It is time to focus on yourself and your own abilities.
- You will be safe as the team will be always by your side. You won’t be hungry and you will sleep in a dry place.
- PART 2: The entrepreneurial skillset: This module will deal with two large topics, both fundamental to the business equation:
- how to create value and
- how to distribute/sell what you created. For both, the participants will be put to the test on real business cases.
- PART 3: The entrepreneurial toolbox: This module will deal with the essential things an aspiring entrepreneur or businessperson needs to do in order to maximize his or her chances of success. The key questions we will answer is: How to succeed without a large network around you? How to find resources when you are looking to start something new? How to get busy people to answer your emails (and help you)?
- PART 4: Work, work, work for 2 days: This module will be the most intense part of the summer school. You will be challenged to take into account everything you have learned so far and create a business project in 2 days. It will be your job to come up with a business idea/solution, test it and prove it by delivering your first prototype in front of a customer: learning about all the steps required to start up a company. Business Challenge will be set up in advance.

The Venue
International Business Summer School Ljubljana will be hosted at spacious and creative "ABC HUB" co-working space, which is located at BTC City - the biggest shopping mall in Slovenia. This will be our playground where we will test our ideas and solutions. In the evening you will go out and explore beautiful Ljubljana, winner of "European Green Capital Award 2016". Your home for these two weeks will be Students dormitory at "Kardeljeva ploščad". You will be sharing a room with one other International Business Summer School Ljubljana participant - a great way to bond with new friends.

Eligibility
If you’re browsing through our page, you are probably the right person for IBSS in Ljubljana. If you are between 20 and 30 years old and have an open mind for developing yourself and your business, then you are eligible to apply for our program. At the end of the registration date and after a quick Skype interview with you, we will select the best applicants to take part in this unique business adventure.
How to Apply?
You can fill the registration form HERE. After we receive your application you will be asked to send us your CV and motivational letter. After 5th June you will be invited for an interview Skype call, where you will help us consider your suitability for the program. Those accepted into the program on 12th June will be asked to pay their tuition fee within 5 working days after confirmation email.
