Become a CRRC Junior Research Fellow - The Best and Challenging Thing to Start Research Career with

Are you a research-minded university graduate who wants to gain an important skill set that is absent in Armenia?  Do you want to work hard and open the door to career and research opportunities? If so, then this is for you!

What you will gain?

  • A 4-month fellowship with a monthly stipend of 120 000 AMD a month (gross).

What will you be required to do?

  • Select a topic of your interest within CRRC-Armenia available data to develop a policy oriented research on
  • Deliver presentations on your research project and findings.
  • Contribute to complex research projects on issues that are important to Armenia’s future
  • Work harder than you ever have before
  • Learn and be extremely inquisitive
  • Be an active member of the CRRC team and work independently  
  • Write blog posts based on CRRC data
  • Provide monthly short progress reports and a final report.

Who is eligible?

  • Armenian citizens between the age of 22 and 30 holding a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (PhD holders are not considered for this fellowship program)
  • Those available to commit a minimum of 6 hours of work per day for two periods for their choice: February-May and September-December 2015
  • Those with excellent English reading, writing, speaking and understanding abilities 
  • Those with excellent writing skills in Armenian.

The Application process

Step 2: If you are short listed, you will be asked to take two different tests in mid-December 2014.

Step 3: After the tests, if you are selected for the next round, you will be invited for a two-day intensive training in late December 2014.

Step 4: The best candidates (six junior fellows, three per each period) will be selected to receive the Junior Fellowships and will be employed for chosen periods.
