About the fellowship

The Finance Department currently consists of 13 professors and offers an attractive scientific environment. The department focuses on theoretically grounded and empirical research in the area of Finance. The successful candidate becomes member of the Finance Department and should contribute to its further development. A participation in the Research Center “SAFE – Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe” is welcome.

We are looking for candidates with a publication record in internationally leading finance journals. We expect excellent teaching credentials and participation in the teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs. A successful candidate should be able to teach in German and in English.

Teaching obligations are 8 hours per week during the teaching period. The designated salary for the position is based on “W3” on the German university scale or equivalent. Goethe University is committed to increasing the proportion of female faculty and therefore especially encourages women to apply.
