European Centre for Minority Issues Visiting Fellows 2016, Germany

Publish Date: Feb 01, 2016

Deadline: Mar 15, 2016

The European Centre for Minority Issues seeks Visiting Fellows. Deadline for applications: 15 March 2016.

The Centre has been operating a Visiting Fellows Programme since it was established in 1996. Young scholars enrolled in PhD programmes, pursuing a topic within or related to minority studies are welcomed at the Centre as Visiting Fellows for shorter or longer periods. They work with the relevant Research Cluster or independently dependent on their topic. Periods of residence can vary according to the Fellow’s own estimation. The Fellows usually present their research project to the researchers at the Centre in a seminar and may also be invited to make a public presentation to the academic networks in the region.

Financing

The ECMI is not able to support Visiting Fellows financially, but we try to help visitors with all practical matters arising from their stay with us. Some young Visiting Fellows may be able to benefit from the Flensburg Stadt Fellowship Programme.

Application

To apply for the position, following documents should be submitted via email at info@ecmi.de:

  • Resume, including a list of publications and a list of 3 references
  • Letter of interest
  • Concept paper of your research project/proposal

Application deadline is 15 March 2016. Please indicate your preferred duration and dates of a Fellowship. For more information, please contact Ms. Maj-Britt Risbjerg Hansen.
