Cranfield University MSc in Management Internship
The Cranfield MSc in Management is a full-time 13-month programme designed for graduates with less than three years’ professional experience. The programme equips students with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to succeed in business and gives them the confidence to tackle complex business challenges to prepare them to take on demanding managerial roles.
As part of the programme, students are required to complete a three-month internship within a host organisation in summer 2016. The internships are customisable in order to fit current business needs or projects and will provide organisations with highly sort after students who possess commercial knowledge, practical skills and access to the latest management research and ideas.
During the internship, the students will undertake a practical thesis that can be tailored to the host company’s goals. This will provide both the company and student with a valuable research tool that can provide significant insight and improvement to the organisation.
Supervising the internship
The internship supervisory team will include both an academic supervisor from Cranfield and an internship supervisor from the host organisation.
The Cranfield Academic Supervisor – the academic supervisor is a member of Cranfield’s academic staff who monitors the student’s progress throughout their internship.
The Internship Supervisor – the internship supervisor is a professional member of staff within the host organisation, who provides day-to-day supervision of the student while they are resident within the organisation.
